Arctic Bishops

with the Anglican community in the Arctic.
The church has supported Bishop Larry Robertson
in his ministry for many years.
Camp Koinonia

Anglican Christian camp that runs family, youth
and children's camps during the summer and
off season programs for adults and youth. For
more information contact Bruce and Jackie Wright
through the church.
Note that early registration and reduced prices for the 2010 camping season ends January 31st, 2010.
Camp Dates for 2010 are as follows:
Kids Kamp (ages 8 to 11) July 18-24th 2010
Youth Camp #1 (ages 11-13) August 15-21st, 2010
Youth Camp #2 (ages 12-14) August 22-28th, 2010
Youth Camp #3 (ages 13-16) August 29-September 4th, 2010
Family Camps are offered in July and August for 1 week each.
Caring and Sharing
Caring and Sharing is a network of over 700 volunteers in our community who respond to verified requests for food for families and individuals in crisis. Requests come from social service agencies in Mississauga, Bramalea and Brampton, as well as the Compass.

The Compass

The Compass is a community centre, food-bank
and resource centre. If you wish to donate
food please either bring it to church and place
in the bin or take it directly to The Compass.
If you wish to volunteer please fill out a
Compass volunteer form located on The Compass

Faithworks

Allows Anglicans to put their faith into action.
Faithworks supports families in crisis, children,
youth, women in need, immigrants, the homeless,
the unemployed, the imprisoned, and those living
in the developing world. Faithworks supports
drop-in/ community centres, shelters, food-banks,
and housing programs.

Hands Across the Nation

This organization provides practical help (buildings,
medical centres, equipment) to communities
in developing countries (Mali, West Africa
and Bolivia, South America are target communities).
Carol Finlay, St. Bride's member, and her family
are active volunteers and supporters of this
organization. Carol has travelled to Bolivia
several times. To
support Carol please contact her through the
church.
Wine and Gourmet night to support HATN will be held on Wednesday March 24th, 2010 at Berkley Church in Toronto. Please visit the HATN website for tickets and information.
Matt L. and David Kingston

Matt and David are both members of St. Bride's church currently working with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. Matt is working overseas and David is working at the University of Toronto-Mississauga.
Tanzania Caring Group

Muriel and Rene Krizanc are members of St. Bride's who are coordinating our ongoing relationship with Bishop Badeleya at All Saints Anglican church and Brother Ignas at Namenyere Hospital. In November 2009 the group launched a catalogue to help raise funds to support the work of All Saints Anglican Church, the Sumbawanga farm, the Sumbawanga school, and the Namenyere Hospital. SAMS

SAMS Canada (the South American Missionary Society in Canada) is a voluntary mission society within the Canadian Anglican church, whose purpose is to find and send those whom God is calling to the mission field, and to widen and deepen the missionary vision of Canadian Anglicans. St. Bride's is planning a mission with SAMS hopefully in 2010. For more information contact Denys Reades through the church.
