Mississauga Marathon Sunday April 26th - Traffic restrictions mean Clarkson Rd North from Lakeshore is best route to church

 

There will be traffic interruptions for those attending services on the morning of Sunday April 26th, 2026 due to the annual Mississauga Marathon. The mid-morning service at 10:00 am will be the most affected. Please advise attendees accordingly and be cautious of runners on the road. The disruption is expected to end by 11:00 am.

• Please avoid vehicle travel on Clarkson Rd. Use of side streets is highly encouraged.
• South Sheridan Way will be closed to eastbound traffic at Robillard Rd.
• Northbound Clarkson Rd will be closed at Medallion Ct. at the mall plaza.
• Westbound Indian Rd. will be possible from Chippendale Rd.
• Indian Rd. and Clarkson Rd. will remain open but narrowed in both directions with runners in a designated coned lane.
• The church is best approached by going north on Clarkson Rd. from Lakeshore Rd.

Service attendees are welcomed and encouraged to cheer on the competitors as they pass the church near the halfway point of 21.1 km.
